This course is aimed at all operatives, managers and supervisors who are required to select, mount, advise on or use abrasive wheels as defined in PUWER Regulations 1998 (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations).
Abrasive Wheels are used in many areas of industry and can be highly dangerous if used by untrained personnel. The aim of our course is to enable delegates to work safely, to ensure that all machinery is fit for its intended purpose, to be aware of the dangers and hazards of abrasive wheels, and to offer practical steps to reduce workplace accidents. On completion, delegates are fully able to work in com pliance with legal requirements.

Certification: Fire Coral Certificate of Attendance valid for 3 years
Our trainer will always bring a set of abrasive wheels with him to use for the training, although ideally the training would be performed using the machinery that would typically be used by your delegates. That way, we can tailor the course and optimise it’s relevance to your workforce.
