Number Of Sessions Required:

Asbestos Management Training is an in-house course aimed primarily at larger organisations that have housing or building stock dated pre-2000. The course is designed to enable duty-holders whether they are care-takers, head teachers or repairs managers fulfil their duties under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012).

As much as it is a training course these sessions are frequently an opportunity for discussion of your management and how it works in practise. We look across responsive repairs, planned-works, voids, out-of-hours etc. It is very common to see significant differences within an organisation across these departments. Getting everyone together for a session gives opportunity to look at the processes around asbestos and its management.

The course can be adapted prior to delivery through direct consultation to include key details from your organisations Asbestos Management Policy; we also include a hands-on walk through of either your asbestos surveys or online management system to help guide its use. Included in the talk is IATP Asbestos Awareness Training.
