Today Cwmbran is a thriving industrial and commercial centre and has attracted inward investment by many major and small companies at its business parks and industrial estates. The town centre boasts Cwmbran Shopping, one of the largest pedestrianised shopping centres in South Wales, with 170 shops. The latest development includes a new Woolworth’s & 50,000 sq ft ‘Asda’ Superstore.
